This guide handles the Taming the Beast quest chain from the point just before Thotar provides a taming Rod for your Dire Mottled Boar in Razor Hill. Thotar provides you with a number of 3 taming rods, every one is different and will allow you tame beasts in the next order: Dire Mottled Boar, Surf Crawler and eventually an Armored Scorpid.

Once you've completed the taming Component of the Quest chain, you have got to head to Orgrimmar and speak a fantastic read to Ormak Grimshot while in the Valley of Honor in order to unlock your pet managing capabilities: Tame Beast; Feed Pet; Revive Pet; and Beast Training.
